Decided to switch to lazyvim because I kept seeing people fly through code with just a keyboard and got tired of feeling slow

First impression: it's fast once it clicks, but the learning curve is very real; my vscode muscle memory is actively sabotaging me right now

here's what actually got me on day 1:

• ctrl+c / ctrl+v don't mean what I think they mean anymore, tried to copy-paste like a normal person and just broke my whole flow

• commenting lines isn't a keyboard shortcut I already know; it's a whole new motion I have to build

• Which mode am I even in? I spent more time than I'll admit just staring at the bottom bar, trying to figure out if I'm about to type code or delete my file

• Jumping between words feels like it should be simple and instead feels like a boss fight

The one thing I miss the most: autocomplete. Not gonna lie, vscode's autocomplete basically wrote half my code for me. But I'm in my second year of uni now, and if I keep leaning on it, I'm never actually gonna learn how to code properly, just how to accept suggestions. So that's gone on purpose, not by accident

It just means no more larping.... I'm lying, larping is a way of life

Verdict: painful, slower than before, but I can already feel why people don't go back once it clicks. More updates as I stumble through this
